We headed to my friends new house in Franklin, TN (unfortunately we couldn't live there at the same time since Shaelyn was born there 10 years ago). Downtown Franklin is so congested now that we would never live where we lived before in Franklin Green, so we agree with my friend Susan Pitts you need to be closer to I-65 now. I'm sad she's still not one street over from us in Peoria but I know how CAT is about moving people around so I'm sure our paths will cross again someday. (Like I'm hoping with some other long distance friends.)
She has 4 kids & it was a school night so she was very busy as always but we were appreciative that she made a nice dinner at her house (since we were sick of eating out by this point) and enjoyed some wine with her company even though she had her husband & kids going in different directions to various meetings & Boy Scouts. We were once again sad when we had to go back to the hotel to sleep but we knew we had a long drive ahead tomorrow to get back home. (8 hours on a good day & we were praying it wasn't going to be like the way down with all the traffic on Good Friday.)
Her littlest is now 3 so I need to get a more up to date picture. In fact we forgot to even take a picture of us together when we were there. I guess that's understandable from 2 busy moms.
