We all needed a Vacation! Part 2

After seeing my sister we headed to my brothers new house to see him & his family in Fayetteville, GA (south of Atlanta,GA) where we spent 4 wonderful days. It was amazing sunny weather so we enjoyed sitting on the back deck while we had our own bug specialist whacking the bugs that came near us (literally) & spraying them. See picture of Rob holding a tennis racquet & spray. He's squinting because it was so sunny if you didn't have sunglasses on. (It reminded me of Oklahoma when I lived there by how intense the sun was).

The first day we let the kids play with their cousins & since they are close in age they have always gotten along very well (Andrew-11, Ben-7). Ben is 3 weeks older than Brayden he just comes from taller genes. The kids played a lot of Wii, Skylanders, & Wii U inside so we got them outside for Basketball, Croquet, Four Squares (we all learned different rules which made the game interesting) & a Nerf Gun Fight with Safety Goggles or Safety Mask because they have increased the speed but it makes it more fun for sure. (See pictures.)
The next day we drove Downtown to the Atlanta Zoo & saw many animals including the Panda bears, which is one of my favorite animals in the world. We saw one sleeping & it seriously looked like a big stuffed animal to cuddle with. The others were eating by peeling off the outside of the bamboo & eating the inside. The mom was much more dainty then the dad. It was fun to watch. (See photos). The kids & I rode on a 5 minute train around the Zoo too. We also saw a huge turtle that reminded us of riding one when we 3 kids were little. We reminisced a little too.
The next day we played Miniature Golf under the Neon Lights. Quite an experience but fun. Shaelyn won. Then we went Bowling & Shaelyn won again including beating the adults but we didn't have gutters guards up for us. Usually Brayden beats us so that shows how surprisingly good our kids are at bowling with a 6# ball. Especially since Greg & I always break a 100. It makes it fun for the family though. As long as its a 6# ball. 7 # & the kids think there arm is going to fall off.
Then we went to Red Lobster to celebrate my brothers birthday. We were very excited because he let us buy their dinner for his birthday which is shocking since we don't exchange gifts for our birthdays due to expense & being farther away & only buy for the kids now. This time he actually let us buy the dinner which was a real treat for us. And he was a good sport when they came out & sang to him too. They sang the traditional way so the kids could join in & make it more fun.
Later that night we came back & did Just Dance 2 on the Wii. It was hilarious taking turns watching others Dance to popular songs. Everyone did very well. We have quite a few dancers in our family. Even Rob, Missy, Greg, & I had a little competition with the kids. We all had fun! We might have to make that a weekly thing at our house now & they loved it so much (especially Ben) they might have to get it too.
The next morning we left their house with tears in everyone's eyes & we can't wait to see them this summer when they are back in Peoria visiting. We then headed to see my good friend in Nashville. (See We needed a Vacation! Part 3).
