Brayden has thought through the concept of not turning in his homework to the fact he has made some valid points. He realizes that they don't get grades until 3rd grade so he has said that he has quite awhile of not turning things in until it counts for anything. Then he played the empathy card where he sees his teacher always busy grading papers & didn't want to add any more work on to her. So for now he keeps doing his homework first thing & then eventually the teacher sees that his folder is very full & takes it out. Obviously at this age they are just thrilled that he's so eager to do it right away. He has said that right when they get to the class in the morning they are supposed to turn in the homework before they talk to anyone. He feels that would take away from valuable time to welcome each one of the girls to class with a friendly smile. I guess he feels his priorities are straight. for a 7 year old. Honestly when I was in 1st grade I wish I had a cute boy welcome me to class with a smile since everyone was so grouchy in the morning in my class. Keep up the great work as a charmer little buddy but can you also turn a few assignments at the same time. That would make Mommy's day since we worked on this book report for quite awhile last night. Thank you!
