Central IL Auto Show

There were over 300 cars at the Auto Show in Peoria IL on Saturday with 29 different Manufacturers so there was plenty for everyone to look at and sit in. Shaelyn only would sit in 2 cars by choice, a BMW Convertible & a VW Convertible. (I don't think she would ever get one of these since she hates it when the wind blows her hair really hard across her face but its a fun thought.). Brayden loved all the cars & wanted to sit in all of them. Not only did he do the Schueffner test where he tries out the leg room in the back seat, but he also decided he would check out which one was better for sleeping in the trunk. (Not sure why since we have never slept in our trunk!). He proceeded with this strange test for quite a while then one of the sales people asks him if he always sleeps in the trunk of the car? I'm sure she thinks we are strange parents. Either way we all had a good time. Greg & I were able to realize we really didn't like any cars that hold as much stuff or as many people as our mini van so I hope it doesn't die anytime soon. I also love that I have seats when I want them & I can tuck them into the truck when I need the Space for Purdy's carrier. (Next Auto Show we will surely get looks because I'm bringing the dog carrier with me to see if it fits in any of the vehicles. )
