We all needed a vacation! Part 4

We made it home! The drive back was a million times better & we decided we will never travel again on Good Friday. On the way back we had to get off the interstate for back ups in Construction, Accidents causing interstates to close parts & we weren't sure which part, & a nightmare situation with all the traffic. On the way back we didn't dare get off the interstate to jinx our good luck so we pretty much didn't stop until we spotted a billboard for homemade ice cream at an official Russell Stover chocolate store (near Springfield, IL) & wanted to treat the kids since they went that entire way without complaining. Although we didn't buy anything but ice cream since my sister works for M&M Mars Company.
When we picked Purdy up from the Dunlap Vet Boarding she was so excited to see us. We brought her home for Zoomies (where she runs continuous figure 8's in our backyard) & they are fun to watch. Unfortunately she is so fast that I can't get it on video. But I did manage to get her other favorite thing which we call her back rub. (But I cant post it to the blog with my phone so you will have to come visit to see.) You can visualize this since I took a picture of her sleeping on her back in her bed, just imagine it with grass underneath her. Purdy usually uses the gravity of our hill to push her body down the hill with her back paws alternating back & forth. She's so talented she can cover a large distance quickly. She can go in circles or go sideways too. It's quite a site. Then she comes inside & she's ready to sit in her bed with her fox. (Fitting for an American Foxhound- Don't you think?)
