Annie Jr. (Part 2)

Shaelyn played the part of July in Annie Jr. at Waukesha Civic Theatre.

The orphans without Annie or Miss Hannigan (because they were still changing in the back) & I had to snap it quickly because I was up on stage to take the pic even though no one but actors are allowed on stage. 

I think the directors were very nice to me because I volunteered a ton of my time.  I felt it was important to help them keep the kids safe by walking them down the street to another building to rehearse.  In fact they only finally got on stage the week before because the Theatre has so many shows going on at once.

Right before the opening Act Shaelyn had to lay in this bed with her eyes closed for when the curtain opened so she looked asleep and it was pitch black on stage and she handled it extremely well.  I was impressed & so was the audience!
