D.A.R.E.

This is the shirt that all the kids wore for the DARE ceremony given to them by Lake Denoon Middle School.

I was formally invited to the gym to hear the 1 chosen speech for Shaelyn's class (girl shown here) & for the other seven  5th grade classes & see Shaelyn receive her certificate. (She wasn't there in time to write a speech to be chosen.)
Here's her teacher announcing each child's full name from memory.  (Not kidding I'm trying to figure out how to nominate her for teacher of the year! She goes above & beyond for sure.)

Shaelyn's shaking hands with her school SRO officer Eric Nowicki. He is great with all the kids at recess & even plays football & basketball in uniform on the playground.

Lake Denoon Middle School Principal, Linda O'Bryan, is very well respected in the community & at the school.  In this picture she is watching Shaelyn receive her DARE graduation certificate from The Muskego Police Dept Chief.
DARE Handbook the students completed.

Mrs. Wendt is her teacher & apologized up & down that they tried to have the programs reprinted to add Shaelyn Fett's name but they wouldn't be done in time from the printers. (I told them it was fine.  I think they were more worried about it then I was.)

This program shows the eight 5th grade classes & teachers.  They are all on one wing of the school.

We are very happy with this DARE program & the school.
