Brayden had a blast at the Slumber Party

Yes we are dedicated parents!  We went back to Dunlap IL so our 8 year old could go to Logan Barlow's Slumber Party. (Shaelyn didn't mind spending the night with her best friend Amelia too. In fact I hardly saw her so that's why there aren't any pics of her.) I'm not even a fan of slumber parties but we made this little boys night. (Actually all 5 of the little boys & maybe the birthday boys little brother too.) His other best friends were there too (Left to Right) Mason Edwards, Logan, Quintin Stirnaman, Brayden, & Dominic Mettlach & Logan's brother.

They started out playing soccer in the backyard. (Logan's mom texted me & said Brayden was quite good & he's the only one not in soccer. She asked why he didn't want to be in soccer & he said too much kicking involved. Too funny.)

It was a glow in the dark party that was so cool because the mom used glow in the dark duck tape & black lights with white yarn so it was like a Mission Impossible obstacle couurse in their basement. Sorry my pic didn't turn out.

Here are the boys watching a movie & eating popcorn in their glow in the dark shirts.

Later that night they attempted to sleep.
It looks like not much sleeping was going on. But that's typical of slumber parties.

Earlier in the day, Greg was packing up his desk for work while Brayden got a haircut & we bought a birthday present for Logan. Then later that night Greg went to watch Wisconsin lose in the Final Four Basketball game with Jay while I stayed & drank wine with the girls, Christina & Traci.

Later that night we had fun doing our nails with sparkly pink polish & clear wraps with a design.

Even Purdy had a play date the next morning after we brought her over to the Mabb's from Traci's.

She likes cats as much as dogs. Willow followed her everywhere.

She enjoyed her play date but she really likes the kids & the attention they give her.

Then we arrived back at Muskego at 3pm Sunday & everyone was sad & missed their friends. Then on Monday after school they were back happy talking  about their new friends again. I think this move will be ok.   Some funny things happened too. After we arrived at the Mabb house with all our stuff Landon said to Greg "So why are you staying here & not at your house?" He said we don't own that house anymore. (Sore subject because unfortunately we didn't sell that house).

Then Shaelyn said the other day "We really moved!  It's official." They are still processing this concept.  Often times the kids will say "where are we" as we pull up at a nice mall.  I'll say "Crazy 8 (store for kids)" & they say "what about the other crazy 8". Then before I can say anything they say "oh yeah we moved."
