What a day!

It started out early & it was a long but fun day. Brayden had to be on the field at 8am for warm-ups for his first of three football games today. Then we sat in the cold wind & watched his game. Then I drove Shaelyn to her Voice Lesson where she nailed the Star Spangled Banner & Les Miserables song.  Then we drove back in time for Brayden's 2nd game. Ate a hotdog & froze some more. Purdy, the team mascot, loved that we brought her a blanket too because she snuggles up between our chairs.  Seriously she's been at every game this season & she's a pro at watching games or watching people. The boys are sad if they don't see her so we even bring her to all the away games too.

Then Brayden's 3rd game (right after the 2nd game) which was the finals of the 2 undefeated Dunlap teams of the Season. Man they looked like Drew Brees & the Saints, throwing some long bombs the length of half the field.  They were ridiculously good. We unfortunately lost even though we ran a couple of Purdue plays that looked really good & the boys gave it a good effort. The boys received medals & trophies after that game.  Brayden was excited! Here is his new medal.
The football trophy is so cute!

Now he can add it to his collection.
We were proud of the team for playing so well this season.

We came home & regrouped.  Then we went to the Boy Scout Campout to join them for more hotdogs & yummy chili dinner.  The chili was a hit since it was so cold. Although Brayden ate another hot dog saying you can't eat too many hot dogs in one day.

Then Greg came home & set up the 2 person tent for him & Brayden to camp out in the backyard. While Shaelyn & I had our own slumber party.

It got cold in the tent according to Greg but Brayden slept well because of his warm sleeping bag.

It was a fun but long day!
