She said she was surprised I hadn't started the Boo Sign around our neighborhood which I do every year. (That is where you deliver a basket of goodies with the Boo sign to two people & they each pass it on to two more people to put on their door so when you go Trick or Treating you see how far it got.) I said, "Oops is it that time of year already? Where did 2013 go?"
Deana (& Shon) Sandifar live 2 doors over & they have been one of the best neighbors anyone could ask for. She's always encouraging us to borrow movies or books from her. In the picture below she's holding the latest book I returned to her "The Astronaut Wives Club".
She brought a basket full of Halloween presents & candy to all of us including Purdy. Here are two pictures of Purdy with her new toy, Mr. Smile with a purple hat. When you push him he squeaks.
We were all shocked she immediately started playing with it because she's only played with her fox at our house. It must be because it was from Deana. Brayden made us laugh when he said her toy looks like an enlarged germ with a Halloween hat.
If or when we ever move we will miss Deana, Shon, & Anna. But hopefully even then we'd always stay in touch!
