One thing I miss about Canada...

Besides having some friends in Canada that I do miss and missing the mountains & the beautiful scenery there is still one thing I definitely miss about Canada.  It was being able to look out the back window of our house certain times a year and see the Northern lights. Here is a picture of the green that we used to see out in the sky that is so hard to describe to friends in the U.S.

 The light moves so fast it's really amazing to watch. And some people go their whole life and don't get to see it so it's exciting that we got to see it many times in Edmonton, Alberta Canada when we lived there.  Several times it was hard to concentrate on the road because you want to watch the sky because it can be gone so quickly so tons of people would pull over to watch the light show.  I suggest googling it & watching a video of it because its very cool to see. The more North you go there are other colors too but I only saw different shades of green. I think Greg said he saw red one time but I can't remember. Ironically it is one of the top 10 things they recommend seeing in the world. So I've checked one off the list. ; )
