Grandparents Day- Brayden's school

Unfortunately only one set of grandparents is close to us in location so they were the ones that came to Country Meadows school for grandparents day today. Brayden was very excited to see my parents and he filled out the interview questions about them and we realized that Brayden and grandpa have a lot in common when we tried to list things the same & differences.  It was really hard to find a difference when doing the packet.  At first I was sad that we didn't hear his class sing but then I found out he would have had to miss recess & we agreed its much better that he have recess than sing to us.  

Brayden was very excited to show off his Chromebook & how he logs in with his username & password.  He also demonstrated his keyboarding/typing skills & impressed me by doing an entire shutdown when he was done & plugging it back into the cart. These kids will be ready for the real world for sure.

When we got home we noticed a blue heron walking across our backyard & we got so excited Brayden yelled let me take pics with your phone so I did & he opened the van door & jumped out which of course made the blue heron fly away. Brayden went running after him to take a picture with my phone & as he zoomed over there he also accidentally deleted the 2 awesome pics with him & Grandpa & Grandma Schueffner that were on the screen still from school.  He felt bad & said he'd give me 2 nice smiles to make up for it.  It didn't replace those awesome pictures but it made me feel better.  (Sorry Grandma & Grandpa!)
