I love journal entries that make me smile. I secretly read this one tonight when it was accidentally left out which never happens. While I was taking it to Brayden's backpack I realized almost every story was about Shaelyn or Purdy.
He adores those 2! He has a lot of dialogue with Shaelyn in each story. In one story he called Purdy Spectacular- big word for a 3rd grader I think. Then he has several stories about finding rocks & adding them to his rock collection. (Good thing we didnt accidentally lose that in the move.) Greg & I both had one entry about each of us. (Thankfully nothing that he wasn't supposed to tell. Although I'm sure the teacher has read a lot of personal info by now.) Maybe that's why they look at you with a big smile sometimes.(Too bad the book never comes home or I'll always read the journal entries.) They just might make me smile even more- if that's possible.
