Apparently the kids are doing great being away from us this week but Purdy is moping around all depressed. I'm sure the kids are staying busy with Amelia & Landon Mabb with school & the Banner School Carnival (see other post) & finally being able to play outside so they are doing very well this week away from us. But Purdy keeps staring at our house & knows everything is gone inside because on clean out day when all the furniture was on its way to Wisconsin we let her roam the house. We thought it would give her closure but apparently we just traumatized her.
To cheer her up Traci Allen, our neighbor from across the street, brought her to the Mabb house to see their kitty, Willow, & our kids. It worked out great! They were all happy. She got along really well with the kitten. They played well together.
Then it was hard when the kids had to say Goodbye. They gave her lots of hugs.
We pick them all up on Friday. I'm sure it will be a great family reunion.
