I had fallen at OSF hospital a few days earlier & badly hurt my tailbone. Since Greg was in Wisconsin, my friend Christina came over to help me use our snowblower.
She's so considerate because it was her idea. The wind was blowing so hard it kept trying to blow it in our face.
The snow was coming down fast too.
The boys stop building their fort to pose.
They were working very hard together.
Amelia brought her friends board & our snow bunny tried it out & did extremely well. Skiing or anything with snow is definitely her sport. She's a natural & went pretty fast too. The girls had a blast snowboarding!
We will miss our sled hill & apparently a good snowboarding hill on our side yard.
Purdy loves the snow. She finds a hill & sits on it. When shes not sitting on it she loves to play in the snow with the kids.
Later that night it even rolled snowballs from the strong winds. I haven't seen that in a long times since the conditions have to be just right.
The kids have had 4 snow days so far this year. (They didn't even have one snow day the last 3 years.) Two of the days this year was a bummer because they were out for it being really cold. But it was too cold with windchill so they couldn't even enjoy the snow day.
It's more fun when they can play outside in the snow.
