Even though our son is a stand up comedian for us & continuously comes up with awesome original jokes, he will never be that because he never wants to go onstage. He will not be anything with public attention involved. Despite what you'd think with his personality at home, at school they tell me he's very quiet & reserved. He gives all the correct answers when asked & is social to all the girls & boys but he didn't want to stand up in front of the school when they said it was his birthday. (And that's ok with us.) he just doesn't like public attention.
He's a happy kid that loves life (like me) but doesn't need a lot of recognition (like Greg) so when it came time for his music performance he kept telling the teacher we'd be moved by then so he wouldn't get a speaking part. Thank goodness, the one line from last year nearly made him throw-up beforehand. This year he just had to sing with his class in front of his parents & that was almost too much to bear for him. His sister, the Soloist, who has sung by herself in front of over 500 people before was trying to give him pointers. (I'm still surprised by her personality that she doesn't have trouble with that since she can't sing in front of her family.) But that is how my kids are different & that is how we roll.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Brayden & he actually stood still for me & cooperated so I could get a nice one. (Sweet boy for his mommy before the concert!)
Special moments!
(Him talking to his Sister & Daddy.)

(How many more mommy?)
Now nerves are getting the best of him before his music concert. He's getting serious. ; )
I'm ready to go he said.
Getting nervous again!
He just told us he's going to keep his acting & singing for just around home.
And as much as the music teacher was surprised to see him there I'm glad he did it & proved to himself that he could do it.
And he knew all the words even though he told us he didn't know any words.
It was really cute. Since they were farmers & they sang E-I-E-I-oops. AHilarious song that we will never hear again unless one of his friends sings it.
