Feb. 12th- My 40th Birthday

I had Christina & her kids over for my birthday (since her husband was out of town) & Greg made this awesome rib dinner! Greg & Christina were planning a bigger 40th party at Weaver Ridge on Sat. night Feb. 22 so this was our family party.  She gave me a glass to celebrate!

She also bought a beautiful sweater in the light green color that I love from Maurice's which is now once again my favorite store!

Yummy food!

Christina brought over chocolate covered Strawberries that were homemade & delicious. 

Others called or sent cards or Facebook messages & made my night special.

My neighbor Deana Sandifar brought over this adorable platter that can be used as a napkin holder or candy dish.  What makes it so cool is you can convert it by the season just by changing the ladybug to another time of year or event.  

It's by Nora Fleming & I'm completely fascinated by it. It takes up so much less storage space & can be out year round just by changing a quick thing.

I hear age 40 is the new 30 so let's hope that is true. And I hope that I have many more birthdays to celebrate with family.
