What's the message?

So my son runs out of his room last night 5 times completely asleep & every time I put him back in his bed he said to me "Messiah wants me to give you a message." So the final time I say what does Messiah need to tell me? He tells me in a much softer voice, a whole bunch of words that made no sense & then he's soundly asleep!  The next morning he knows nothing about it. Now I'm thinking what does Messiah want me to know. It's almost like when someone said listen up this is really important & then you are so focused on listening you forget what they said.
