The playset looks new again.

Yesterday Greg & I stained the playset and it took us all day but at least it's done.  It's been 5 years since it was stained last & it really needed it. Unfortunately I was so anxious to get started I forgot to take a before picture, so you'll just have to imagine how bad it was in the during & after pictures. We started with Greg painting the roof & me making sure the ladder didn't move by bring an anchor at the bottom of the ladder so I didn't dare step off to take a picture or something bad might have happened.  Thankfully we were both safe and now we are thankful it's done.

The rock wall was laid out carefully so it wasn't like a puzzle putting it back together. (See below)

Good thing I wore my painting jeans because I kept accidentally rubbing the paint bucket up against my leg while holding it. (Silly me!)
Then we sat outside on our patio admiring our work & there was a gorgeous sunset setting behind the playset.  I got the end of the sunset in the picture below.

We are so happy we can cross that off our to do list.  And the kids will enjoy not getting splinters in their hands when it dries.  We are both surprised we got it done in one day using half as much stain as last time, about 5 years ago.
