I had the best day & a half

Yesterday I drove to Peoria/ Dunlap IL to see Christina, my friend, for dinner & stay with my friend, Traci.  To make it fair I alternate who I stay with. I had so much fun at both places that I'm thankful Shaelyn still has her braces on.

Green Glow in the dark braces! Where were these when I was a kid!

My friends have helped make it easier on me & cheaper for letting me stay with them so I'm blessed. Unfortunately on those quick trips my daughter & I cant see everyone we want to see.

We were there ultimately for an orthodontist appt. this morning then her immunization for entering 6th grade. We also needed to see the alterations lady, Girl Scout Leader, Principal at Banner to get the yearbooks, & fix Shaelyn's glasses before driving back home to Muskego, WI to get Brayden off the bus. (He gets out Thursday but doesn't go back until Sept. 2nd.) I'm happy to report that we made it & we even ate yummy Sushi together & we saw Greg at a gas station in Beloit as he was heading to Peoria for work for the week. (Greg put Brayden on the bus this morning for me & walked Purdy since I was in Peoria.)

Here's a pic of my friend Christina Mabb & her family. (Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture with Traci or her family.)

I'm sad today is over because I miss my friends & cant believe how fast the time went but I'm also glad today is over because even though it went well it was very exhausting.
