It's been a busy week for Shaelyn

She had a PACC(Peoria Area Civic Chorale) Youth Concert - see pics below in black dress- at Grace Presbyterian Church one night. Then she had a PACC Youth Picnic a few nights later.

Later in the week she had a Symphony Concert at Dunlap High School where she played Violin very well & it sounded really good even with all 5 Dunlap Elementary School 4th graders playing together. During this time she also got a 100% A+ on her Math Test in Long Division, & an A on her Social Studies test where I overheard a lot of the moms saying that Shaelyn got the only A. (I found this out the next day as I chaperoned 6 kids on a Fieldtrip to Springfield IL to see the Lincoln Museum with Shaelyn's class). Then that night Shaelyn got a haircut where she wanted 6 inches cut off her hair. (She's happy that her head feels lighter. I'm happier that she can wash her hair faster.)
Shaelyn got 100% on her Spelling Test this week too & really has become quite the Speller getting 100% on every test this quarter. She has 25 words every week & they are so hard that most adults or magazines articles still mess up a lot of the words. She has done many other great accomplishments this week as well (like 100% on all her quizzes) & we are so proud that she has kept it all together running smoothly.
