Valentines Day parties

My kids are enjoying school & it's amazing how much they teach them now. My daughter is doing geometry in 4th grade & my son is reading chapter books in 1st grade. So I was happy on Valentine's Day that they were able to have a party for the last hour of school.

Unfortunately do to limited gym time Shaelyn had to miss hers do to violin practice for the concert on Tuesday. So they had to take a bus over to the new school (that looks like a high school in size) because all the schools have their practice & concert together.

So I helped with Brayden's party. He had a craft station, a decorate your cookie station, a story station, & a games station. Surprisingly the moms weren't running to the games station so I said I would run it to help out. I'm glad I did because I had as much fun watching the kids play as the kids did playing. We first blindfolded a child & spun them slowly then had them place the heart on the teddy Bear until each kid had a turn. Then it was time for Twister. As you can see from the pictures the kids work very well together & were able to get along even though they sometimes were very close to one another in Twister. They are such a good class of sweet kids that it is so nice to see. (My daughters class is the same way.) It was a nice start to Valentines Day weekend.
