Brayden won't be fooled.

Brayden shared with me today that he started writing in his journal today at school. He has been waiting to write in his journal since the teacher talked it up at the start of the school year. So he finally got a chance today & he was pumped. So the question his teacher, Mrs. Haley, gave them was "If you went to school long ago you would______________?"
So I say while walking through SAMs Club with him pushing the cart, "What was your response?"
Brayden says, "Mom, I just crossed it out and wrote in all the things we did this weekend. I wrote how we went to Tanners and petted the goats and even fed them too. See mom I think it was a test. She told us we would be writing about current events & what was happening in our life now. She was just seeing who was listening? I bet I was the only one that passed the test."
By this point I'm laughing so hard I could barely keep a straight face. So when he asked if I was proud of him I just smiled & nodded. He had a big grin on his face because he was proud of himself that he wasn't fooled.
