Pine Wood Derby back in May.

The weigh in was made less stressful with my Pitney Bowes Scale. Good thing we didn't donate the scale 3 houses ago like Greg wanted.

Brayden's car is on the bottom right.

He wanted close to Dolphin colors with Flames. 

Brayden did really well. He took 1st Place in his Den & 2nd place overall. It was based on best times down the track in all 4 lanes so 3 of the 4 times Braydens car won but the last time the other boys car won so we knew it would be close. In the end he lost by .08 seconds to win the entire event. He was still happy since it was his first time. Greg was happy too!

(Maybe a bit relieved.) Plus the other boy was a 4th grader so it was his last Derby.

Everyone received a stand for their car to sit on and display in their room. We put up another shelf for Brayden's room so it wasn't all crammed together.
