Here's the Kindergarten class to prove my point of the importance of foreign language on the future generation. Almost half the class is fluent in another language.

And this is exactly why I'm teaching my kids Spanish
Brayden (and maybe Shaelyn) will have Spanish starting next year in class from a Spanish teacher but this year I will have to be their Spanish teacher. I feel it will be extremely important for my kids to know at least one other language besides English because many of the kids in school with them speak 2 or 3 languages already. Although we do live in a diversified area but if we stay here those same kids will be competing for jobs one day. Thankfully both my kids love languages & are enjoying my class!
