I wish I had more time to play cool games on our IPad like Stack the States or Stack the Countries. Believe it or not moms are really busy! It didn't look this hard when I was babysitting for 14 years! Then again I never went in the laundry rooms either. I wonder if there laundry shoots were regurgitating with clothes too?
The other night I was sitting with my kids at dinner & we were playing a fun game. I would have said "family game" but Greg was out of town. Anyway, the kids came up with this fun game where one person thinks of a state & then says what the first letter is & the last letter is when spelling the name of the state. And in my head I was thinking,"I've got this" especially since I've been to 49 of the 50 states & I loved studying the states as a kid. So I think it's a brilliant game & can't wait to guess the state. Youngest always goes first in our house so Brayden says his 2 letters & before I can even think of a state that starts with that letter Shaelyn already got the answer. I thought, "Oh no tough competition." So I psyched myself up again & heard Shaelyn 2 letters & Wammo Brayden got it. I asked them if they were cheating & my sweet daughter says, "Mom, We are not psychic?" Are you sure because this game is a lot harder than I thought? I wanted to say. So next it's my turn & the 2 of them got it at the same time. This went on for another half hour & I'm proud to say I finally got 2 correct. So tonight while they are sleeping I'm folding laundry & studying the states so tomorrow night when I beg them to play again maybe I can do better. Not sure if I will beat my score because these 2 travelers of mine are very smart.
