Whew, what a week!

Whew, what a week!

Is it over yet? This week was action packed with girls' night out, a field trip, and scrapbooking.

On Tuesday I chaperoned Shaelyn's class field trip to the International Children's Festival. It's an annual event with a ton of fun things for the kids to do right here in St. Albert. We got to attend a performance of some of the Eric Carle books, such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Mixed Up Chameleon. It was a "black light theatre", done entirely with the lights out and glowing puppets manned by unseen puppeteers. The effect was really cool and the kids loved it. Of course, it was a special treat to ride the school bus too!

I went to a crop night with some girlfriends to work on Shaelyn & Brayden's baby album. We worked hard until midnight. I had a pretty productive night and really cranked some pages out.  I know the kids enjoy looking at the albums and what I've finished each time.  I'm glad I'm almost done since it's taken 8 years to complete Shaelyn's book;
and almost 5 years for Brayden's album.  Should be done soon since I only have a few pages blank in each book,

We've had some pretty decent weather lately so we're outside soaking up as much as we can. The kids love going out back to play on their playset. They both love to swing.
They also like going down the slide. Brayden has found many uses for the slide and his favorite is sending his cars down the slide like a car ramp.
